It is a structured approach to healing relational trauma (people-pleasing, over-functioning, and self-doubt). We focus on three pillars: Mindset Re-patterning to build self-trust, Energetic Budgeting to prevent burnout, and Boundaries & Attachment Management to help you stay connected to yourself while in relationship with others.
-
Relational wounds—the ones that cause us to over-give or doubt ourselves—happen in connection with others. Therefore, they are most effectively healed in connection with others. Group therapy provides a "relational laboratory" where you can practice new boundaries in real time, which individual therapy simply cannot replicate.
-
Unlike "process groups" that can feel chaotic or emotionally "loud," our groups are structured and contained. We prioritize Energetic Budgeting, meaning we don’t do trauma-heavy storytelling. Instead, we focus on how you are showing up in the present moment. You remain in control of your boundaries at all times.
-
Individual therapy is great for insight, but group therapy is a laboratory for action. In a 1:1 setting, it’s easy to talk about boundaries; in a group, you get to practice them with real people in a safe, moderated environment. It helps move the healing from your head into your nervous system.
-
That is actually where the best work happens! Learning to navigate slight friction or different personalities without over-functioning or withdrawing is the core of developing secure attachment. I am there to facilitate and ensure the space remains grounded and respectful.
-
If you're still unsure if group or my limited 1:1 openings are right for you, the consultation is the perfect place to explore that. We will spend 15 minutes discussing:
Your "relational baseline" (how you currently navigate boundaries).
Any fears you have about the group dynamic.
Whether my structured approach matches your current capacity for growth.
-
No. Our groups are structured and contained, intentionally avoiding trauma-heavy processing to focus on present-moment integration.
-
That’s a natural part of the process. We use the consultation to ensure you feel safe and ready before ever entering the room.
-
Yes. In fact, my practice is specifically designed for those who are not in acute crisis. We work best with adults who are functioning well externally but feel internally depleted, misaligned, or "stretched thin" by the needs of others. We focus on sustainable growth, not emergency intervention.
-
Not at all. To protect your nervous system and my clinical energy, our groups are contained and skills-based. We do not spend time reliving traumatic narratives. Instead, we focus on how those past experiences show up in your current life and how to shift those patterns today.
-
The 15-minute consultation is a mutual "fit check." We discuss your goals and my method to ensure that a grounded, relational approach is what you truly need right now. It ensures that when you join a group, you feel confident in the structure and the safety of the space.
